Music
runs deep in the spirit and soul of Amin. His voice
is sexy. His Music is smooth. His song selections
are lyrically rich and heartfelt.
A self-taught
musician since childhood, Amin has always had an
undying passion for music and the arts, which has
molded him into an unforgettable musical persona.
Amin,
a contempory player, is versatile and able to tackle
any musical challenge.
"I
love writing," Amin says. "Words are so
important in expressing how we really feel; then
you can add music to 'color' those words. I see
myself as a musical artist who, like other artists
such as a painter, records a certain era in life
for historical purposes."
Staying
grounded and spiritually connected have been the
keys to his success. Whether singing or playing
Bass, Amin makes you understand the meaning of "Keeping
It Real".

This
was my first guitar.
My Mother
paid thirty-nine dollars for this guitar and twenty-nine
dollars for a small amp. I am grateful to have had
a Mother who loved music and the arts the way she
did.
The
Church
My
first experience with the guitar came through my
attending church at Deacon and Sister McKinny's
house located at 24th and Arch St. in Little Rock.
It was here that I fell in love with the Bass, which
was introduced to me by a brother named Charles
Perkins out of the East End of Little Rock. Charles
played a Fender Telecaster Bass.
